Pantanal

The massive wetland in the northwest of the state of Mato Grosso del Sur in Brazil, represents one of the most biologically rich environments in the planet with the largest concentration of Jaguars and caimans in the world.  The constant search through the meanders of the Paraguay River and its tributaries Cuiabá, Taquari and Miranda Rivers, the restless wait and the ambivalent sensation of fear and wonder, makes the Pantanal my favorite place in America to take pictures.
